Meet the Fam: Ky!

Today I’m excited to introduce you to one of my new friends from this season of life!

 

This is Ky. Throughout the last 3 months it’s been such a joy to get to know her and see all the ways the Father’s heart is manifested in her. Ky has an immense boldness in her spirit—she fiercely passionate about justice and serving the weak and vulnerable. The Lord gave her an abundance of zeal, and when he tells her to pursue something, she chases it down until it’s been fully realized.

At the same time, Ky embodies gentleness in a way I’ve rarely seen. She channels the passion God gives her into creating an atmosphere of safety and honor for everyone she encounters. She makes people feel seen and doesn’t stand for injustice or dishonor in any capacity.

Ky has eyes that see beauty everywhere, and a heart that worships so radiantly in the beauty she encounters. (She also takes some pretty incredible photos using those eyes). She sees the hidden hope in the people around her, whether they’re able to see it for themselves or not, and stewards her voice in a way that helps others cultivate the good in their hearts, even when they’re in pain. She’s a sister to all she knows and her heart is extremely loyal to those God puts in her path.
